Our Mission

Founded on September 1, 1932, the Actuarial Society of Greater New York (ASNY) is a non-profit actuarial organization committed to four major objectives:

• Further the development of actuarial science and knowledge.
       - ASNY periodically provides grants to fund these efforts.

• Assist in the ongoing education of ASNY members.
       - Throughout the year, ASNY's Continuing Education and Annual Meeting committees organize educational meetings.

• Hold meetings regarding matters of social interest to members. These events permit an interchange of ideas and good fellowship.

• Assist in the education of actuarial students in the Greater New York area.
